My first sale, and tasty new items added to the shop!

In my first blog post I mentioned having to spend a hell of a lot of time manually editing all the metadata for the over 400 listings in my new shop, and since then I've been working on redoing every image thumbnail and product shot for every item. That’s between 3 and 6 images per item, over three online shops! (I currently sell on Etsy, my new Squarespace shop and some items are sold wholesale to retail shops using Faire.com) I'm less than a quarter of the way through so far, and I'm slowly losing the will to live. But I got my first sale on here which I'm over the moon about! So I thought it was a good idea to pause the mass admin work to write a new blog post and show you all some new items I've just uploaded to the store.

First of all we have some delicious food related acrylic paintings that I've turned into prints. Check them out below with these super cool preview summary things Squarespace lets me add into blog posts showing all the types of products the prints come in!

Meet my Baked beans acrylic painting.

Next up we have a Scottish sweet favourite, Tunnocks Caramel Wafer.

How could I paint a Caramel Wafer without also painting a Tunnocks Teacake?

And one I had a lot of fun painting, Licquorice Allsorts!

Finally, a classic Edinburgh castle drawn in pencil

What do you think of them? Do you have a favourite? Let me know in the comments! (I just learned that I can enable comments under these blog posts, you dont even need to make an account to say hi!)

Well, that’s all I have to say for now, so I guess I’m going right back to editing these images. I’ll try to think of a good blog post to do once I’m finished with this soul-crushingly gigantic task. I hope you’re having a lovely time and doing something less monotonous with your day!
